印度尼西亚大学生的英语口语及其学习态度

摘要

本文旨在研究印度尼西亚穆罕穆迪亚大学英语教育系学生在学习英语口语时是否遇到了问题。如果有,为什么 会出现问题?他们的态度是什么?他们的态度会如何影响英语口语交流?本文是一项基于印度尼西亚英语学习者在学习过程 中产生的语言现象的定性现象学研究。大多数印度尼西亚人学习者已经学了 6 年多的英语,但仍然不能用英语交流。大多数 学习者抱怨“过时”的教学方法,这种方法过于注重语法学习,缺少对英语本身的实际应用。本文研究数据来源于过往文献、 深度访谈和对英语口语学习态度的直接观察。结论来自对三个学习层次的学生(大一、大二和大四学生以及校友)的采访和提问。 这项研究结果显示,大多数学生因为避免错误和失误而在说英语时遇到困难。这种犯错误的态度来源于通过英语单词发音的 社会压力。研究还发现,有许多学生在读英语单词时经常受到他们当地语言的影响而产生一些消极的态度。
